I've worked in technology for more than twenty years, and the people behind a system now interest me as much as how it was built. I write about inventors, engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs, and about people outside technology too. Their decisions and their failures still affect how we live.

Most famous names come with a polished legend. I set that legend beside the person's own words and the records they left, and I write the version those documents support.
