Surprise! I also got the same e-mail recently in my Spam box:

First, I thought who the f*ck Meredeth Waggener is and knows my LinkedIn password (ages ago) :) Then I realized that there are a lot of wrong points inside e-mail and I thought this is a fake e-mail.

Being hacked is no joke… It is very serious thing and you can face with it anytime in your lifetime. You should take it very seriously and especially for phishing attacks. Recently, I was talking with my friend and he said “I am using Apple iPhone, it is the most secure mobile device in the World!”. Well, there is not such a thing that “the most secure device” in this century, sorry. If you don’t believe me, you can read the news.
What should you do now?
In every case:
- Change your LinkedIn password
- If you are using LinkedIn password in somewhere else, change them too
- Enable Two-Step verification
