Nope, macOS owes more to Benjamin Franklin because he attached a wire to a kite in a thunderstorm, which showed that lightning consists of electricity in 1752. Or may be we should start from human evolution? Using BSD components are different, Linux architecture is different. And converting BSD components to mimic Linux architecture is different. So tomato is different, pasta sauce is different.

Basic tools? Linux? Desktop environments? If so, Apple has more basic tools, for example you can check Safari’s history as you like history but you don’t need to go to ARPANET time :D You are right on one thing that I am struggling to read Apple fanboys comment and don’t take them so seriously and most probably missing some points. It is totally a intentional ignorance.
