Trello is a very good productive tool to manage your tasks as a card in the Kanban framework. I cannot say Trello is my go to tool for my daily usage, especially managing personal life. I am using Trello if I need to manage the things more than me but my go to tool is Todoist which has sync problems between iPhone and my MBP but still, there is no contender adding todo items as fast as Todoist. Trello also has global shortcuts to add fast cards but you still need to choose board and list. It is natural language in Todoist and I don’t need to touch the mouse or tabbing to select where to add.
From that perspective, I need card numbers to give reference inside a small team. This card number must be unique by the board and be created automatically. If you are using Jira, you understand what I mean. I still use Jira for more than 2–3+ people in Kanban or 7+ people in Scrum if it is a development team. If I need to sync with my wife or my friend while doing side projects, I always go with Trello (this is my old statement, please check the new explanation at the end of the article).
I am using the Kanban framework as much as possible rather than Scrum because Kanban is more agile and fast-moving than Scrum for me. Of course, Scrum is the go to framework for the enterprise world but if I am in a small team or startup in the eccentric stage, I always…
